Only downside was that the website did not have the current prices. The price was a bit higher when I got there. This place is as you expect, sometimes they have what you need, sometimes they don't. Sometimes the part is a gem, sometimes it is not. Satisfied.

Loved the guys here, I called on a holiday, the lady Betty, answered all my questions and even called me back twice when my phone dropped the call. Refreshing to get treated like a person, down home feel. She was so sweet and had someone at my house within an hour!! The driver Alan was very professional and polite...cant say enough good about my experience, I will definitely use them again and highly recommend that anyone in the market for used parts check them out . You will not be disappointed.
BUYERS BEWARE!! Don’t buy car parts from this place if you want something to work. I was sold a faulty alternator that didn’t work and battery that doesn’t fit. The reason I knew the alternator was faulty is because I had it bench tested at a local autoparts store. Picture is below. They got kids working the front who need serious training on customer service. When I asked to speak to a manager he acted like it was a nuisance to come and take care of the issue. Do not get used car parts here. Shady ppl

Stellar service, exceptional attitude. Very helpful in finding the correct part. Went out of his way to assist with getting the proper corresponding part for our vehicle. Will definitely be doing business again. Great humor from owner and staff.
I have dealt with Ron on difficult items and I have referred others to him as well. He will not sell you an incorrect or inferior part. I understand that he is kind enough to accept returns no matter what the situation. At least I think so, nobody has ever returned anything that I know of and we all have been super happy with everything. Everything as described or better, well packed, shipped fast. Maybe most importantly he is a really nice person with outstanding core values. You can't go wrong here. This is Mike Green. Many of you know me and my cars. I don't recommend anyone easily. This one I do highly recommend. Thanks!

I have been going LKQ Mount Airy or Crazy Rays for years. They have an up to date inventory online, and I have been lucky to get some gems. Only a $3 admission fee, REMEMBER TO CARRY CASH for the admission and soda machine. Recently, their organization has been confusing. Imports, Europeans, GM, Ford, Dodge, etc used to be well organized by vehicle type and brand, not anymore. Finding what my friend and I needed to get was confusing. I counted at least fifteen brands in the same corner of the yard. This is more of an inconvenience or nitpick. The prices for their items has gotten more expensive since 2020, but it's not exactly their fault. More like the market and inflation. There are teams of scavengers, that their job is to take high demand items before anyone else. Again not LKQs fault directly, they are a business at the end of the day. At least for me, they still are cheaper than some new parts. I have a 20 year old Chrysler LH car, Mount Airy is the best junkyard in the DMV area in my opinion and for my car. Hopefully the yard organization and parts prices will get better soon.
I had my first experience at Cody’s this week. I, and some mechanics, had been looking for months for a couple parts to fix up my Subaru with no luck. I call up Cody’s and Matt had the parts pulled in no time and I was on my way. The prices are unbeatable, and the service is incredible. I definitely recommend Cody’s for anything you may need.
