I've dropped off several loads of scrap metal at this location. Their prices per lb are fair and, IMO, recycling my scrap is preferable to throwing it in the landfill. If you don't separate your base metals, i.e., aluminum, copper, tin, lead (batteries) etc prior to drop off you'll be given a flat rate per lb. I believe this flat rate is based on the daily value of tin on the market, so it's pretty low. The employees in the yard will help direct you to where to place your load, but they're not going to help offload it. Be prepared to dump your own scrap into the various piles in the yard. I recommend sturdy footwear and gloves if you visit.
We are so thankful for this place which helped us get rid of several loads of scrap from a rental we were cleaning up in Johnstown., Very friendly staff .

We have placed on order for a transmission on a 2014 Ford Focus. Dave took in the order, confirmed everything with shipping cost, today we responded to picture that he has sent us, we could not see much as it was rapped and we responded to ship it out as long as it is good and it is the right part, dave later responds and says it is cancelled, when i called to ask why, he said it does not matter and hangs up, i tried calling back multiple times and they just answer and hang up. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I will not be buying anything from here again. I have waited a week for nothing. Bad customer service.

Fenix auto parts has bought this place out. There are no Chevy vans left they been crushing all the cars there. Doesn't make much sense when people need the parts there crushing. I'm gonna miss this place.
Shorted me, how does a engine block wiegh 80lbs? Well, looking at the wiegh slip it's easy to tell they stopped the computer scale as it was still moving. My tare weight after the regular steel was 9,542. So I was told to re wiegh to get the wieght of the engine block and it says gross 9340.... how did I loose 200 lbs from the time I got ff the scale then back on? Shame people do business like this!!!!! Wish I would have caught it while I was there!!!! I shouldn't have to check to make sure people do there job correctly. This is what they do for a living.....
