My car broke down on I-90 so I called Cash For Junk Cars Des Plaines. Pickup was prompt, especially because of the weather. I didn't have the title to give to the driver so he drove my girlfriend and I all the way to downtown Chicago to pick it up which was amazing. The payment for the car was more than fair, I would 100% recommend him if you are looking to junk your car.

The worst recycling company I’ve ever used please please do not trust this yard and the salesmans. They are all shady they sold me a transmission I paid $1,580 the shop that installed it, stated the torque converter didn’t work. I called the yard they told me the torque converter, which is attached to the transmission. Is it under the warranty? Come to find out the whole transmission was bad they told me they won’t warranty it because it’s out of warranty. Keep in mind this car never left the shop, because of the transmission they sold me was bogus. I’ve been in business for about eight years and I’ve never seen a junkyard. So unprofessional, that wouldn’t work with the customer and sell you bogus parts and the. stand behind it. The worst customer service Ive ever had in life. my father always said if you buy cheap you’ll pay twice I paid 3 times because the shop had to install a bad trans and now I have to find another trans and have it installed
