Closed on Saturdays, why would any wrecking yard close on the best day for business?

If you're working on a classic or antique vehicle, places like this are your lifeline for those hard-to-find parts you need. I drove down here from WI for parts for my 1941 Oldsmobile coupe, and I don't regret it for a second. Super happy with my parts and the whole experience! Thanks again guys!

Bad place for a shop to do business with and very dishonest people. They sold me a bad engine that was knocking and bearing material in the oil after only idle time that could have been obvious when they drained the fluids. After returning the bad engine under warranty they returned my core back all damaged because they did not use a chain to pick up the engine with care using the fork lift. My customer needed some parts off the core they damaged to use on a reman. After contacting them about the damages with photos as proof they took no responsibility nor offered to swap parts from the bad engine I returned undamaged. Then they brought up labor warranty after the fact and I had already asked for warranty options fees via email prior to purchase but to only be offered parts warranty because I was not specific about what warranty I was inquiring about. Apparently if you ask "what other warranty for an extra fee they offer" is not clear enough to these people, very bad business period.

Ok, to begin, I have been looking for a seal for my truck, and so I called around many places, including Albuquerque and Amarillo. Lo and behold, I talked to Bre over the phone and received an estimate on the availability and approximate cost. Sure enough, they had a vehicle like mine with the parts I needed! Then the checkout was so smooth all because Bre and David were there through the whole checkout process. I just can't thank these guys enough. Not only am I happy but my truck thanks them emensly. I will have to go through the whole truck and see if I need anything else for it. If you have questions, Bre and David are there for your questions and parts needs. Lubbock, Wrench A Parts, these guys are an asset to the business for sure.

Called to see if they had a part for a car and told us they let the last people on the yard at 5:25pm. We got here at 5:19 and they at first didn’t want to let us out. We ended up getting the part but the young girl was rude when checking out and paying for the part. They then locked our actual vehicle in the lot (closed and locked gate). We sat there and waited over 30 minutes to get out. Rude as hell!

I called this place for a price on a Front Differential. I was told $300 over the phone and that the vehicle was at their yard already so all I had to do was pay for it and they would have it within a couple of hours. When paying for it the person who told me $300 was arguing with I assume his boss about him pricing it so low. I left and got a call from them an hour later 3/4pm stating that the part was cracked and the best thing they could do is order it for $700. They stated it would take 2 days. I ordered as I desperately needed the part. He called the next morning saying it was there. I have bought multiple parts from this place that have needed to be ordered and they always have a tag and are wiped clean. This part did not and was extremely greasy as if it was just pulled. I believe they sold me the same part they had in stock already and raised the price. I don’t believe these people are honest or honorable.
