I'm happy this place exists! I just moved and didn't know what I was going to do with all of the excess boxes. They have an area here at the front by the entrance where you can drop cardboard and paper items, so it's a quick in and out. Very thankful for that!
John's Salvage is a large yard with a lot of vehicles. From project cars to school buses, they have a great variety. I was looking for a part number specific intake manifold that no one from Austin to San Antonio had except John's. The price was reasonable since Terry did all the work pulling the manifold. I will head to John's the next time I need a good used part.

Mann!! I had been ripped off by other salvage yards with this engine but Joseph finally spoke to me like someone with pride in their parts and service so I bought a 5.4 ford engine from him and all worked like a glove. They even start and record all vehicles so you can be extra secure the engines, transmissions, etc…you are buying are on point. Thank you again!

The guy over there was very helpful. He taught me how to scrap properly. Very informative. He told me what was worth cleaning and what was not. I was recommended this Scrap metal by my neighbor and i recommend this business to other people as well. Friendly staff.
