Go somewhere else if you want true value for your metals. If copper even has a slightest green color to it, they say its #2. Wire any size that has been stripped of all plastic and coverings you get nothing for. That should also be #1 copper. there scale is 14 lbs off and they weigh your metal in portions so you will lose 14lbs every time. If your copper does not look new then it is #2 to them. My father has owned a scrap yard in Tennessee my entire life, I've been around this business for over 40 years now. I should have gotten $1185.80 for my metal and only walked out with $700.. I took the time to cut it up and separate everything precisely. I guess they are used to people coming in looking for a quick 20 bucks that pay no attention. But if you have hundreds of pounds of copper i would highly recommend you going elsewhere.

I had my first experience at Cody’s this week. I, and some mechanics, had been looking for months for a couple parts to fix up my Subaru with no luck. I call up Cody’s and Matt had the parts pulled in no time and I was on my way. The prices are unbeatable, and the service is incredible. I definitely recommend Cody’s for anything you may need.

Elwood is very fair on his used auto parts and labor if he works on your vehicles. Definitely would recommend 100%. Glad I found him because I feel like he is an honest mechanic and that is hard to find nowadays.

If I could rate you ZERO STARS I WOULD!! The guy came to our property, asked us questions about our property and before he pulled out SHATTERED the windows to the truck he was taking away and LEFT ALL THE GLASS IN OUR YARD ON THE DRIVEWAY???¿¿!!!! Crazy!!! Do not recommend!!!

My daughter was in an accident on a sunday evening. Andrew showed to tow her car. I was completely at a loss with what to do given my daughters car has liability insurance given insurance rates are so high for young drivers. Andrew was nothing short of amazing. He stayed in contact with me and made a bad situation not so terrible. I am so grateful he showed to that accident and was able to help get her back on the road within a few days without taking my life savings. I am happy to have a new contact for car repairs. Very helpful staff, easily accessible yard, organized and easy to find what you need. Awesome set of folks to deal with. Got what I needed for my wifes Escalade and we are all set.

NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!! I bought a 2000 shortie bus from this junkyard fully running and good to go, made payments on this for $3000 for 3 months just to find out he never had the title…. I was forced to find the original owner and work with him on the title. Previous owner was nice enough to realize what happened and sign me over the title. Came back 3 hours later after solving the title issue anddd I Had workers deface my bus as well the day I took it… (they broke all of my gutter plastic on the hood climbing on the roof for some reason can clearly see in the first photo it wasn’t like that) I later went to go get my mirrors and I was asked to leave so that’s the last time I’ll ever be by 🤷‍♀️ very shady 👎 and not trustworthy people. (Can clearly see the footprints of them climbing on the roof in the bottom photos after I had dealt with the title)
