Best Junkyards in Raleigh North Carolina
Top-rated Automotive Junkyards and Recycling companies meticulously vetted and reviewed within the Raleigh area.
Quick responses, professional and friendly. Needed a car removed the same day and she was happy to accommodate around my schedule.
Dee is such a nice, friendly and knowledgeable lady. I had two vehicles removed today. Everything from beginning to end went very smoothly. She responded quickly to any questions I had and kept me up-to-date throughout the entire process. It was all done in one day. If needed, I would definitely use The Junk Car Lady again.
Maybe 3 Stars on a good day. This place is a junkyard and not an auto recycling location. Everything in the place is poorly marked as to the vehicles location. When I pointed out to Keith that a few cars weren’t even on the lot, he started arguing. He pulled up cars on his computer that were NOT on the lot proving himself wrong. The prices are okay until they add a warranty and hazardous materials fees without telling you first. Then core charges on parts like a 4wd skid plate. They have core charges on nearly everything. Core charges are meant to be charged to the customer when they are buying something that will be remanufactured. LKQ doesn’t remanufacture anything. Just be upfront and honest about the prices. Raise the prices if need be. Tacking on fees is shady. I don’t need to pay a 90 day warranty charge on a piece of interior trim. Clean up the lot daily and close the vehicles’ doors. That helps with trip hazards. It keeps a lot of water out of the cars too. The Durham location is managed much better.

Offered best for my accident damaged car compared to other major online damaged car buyers. Pick up is on time and easy. Payment process is smooth.

Now this is what an automobile recycle salvage yard should look like. I’m driving the extra 30 miles to Durham to avoid the Clayton Raleigh LKQ Pick a Part. The spaces on every car are well marked. The yard is pretty dang clean. The staff are all friendly. They even ask which parts you’d like to buy a 90 day warranty on before just slapping the fee on there. Damon helped me at the checkout a few times. He’s a very gregarious young man. He knows a good bit about cars too. It’s refreshing to deal with folks that don’t hate their jobs. I’ll be back for a few items next week. Thanks y’all!
I want to say I had a great experience this company, thank you Gorge...andcthe two guys that help me on issues with my tire well done guys from Mr Keith

Wasted my time waiting for someone to pull a part, just to find out they didn't have it, after someone went and checked. No inventory control.
