Been here many times. I’ve always enjoyed the experience. The place is organized, and if you are unsure of where to look, the employees will be happy to help you by providing a map of the yard and where you’re going to find certain vehicles. There’s a $3 entry fee, which isn’t bad. Once you open the doors to the junkyard, it’s almost another world. There are vehicles as far as the eye can see. Just make sure to bring all the tools you’ll need. Wheelbarrows are provided. Once you pull the parts you need, there are pumping sinks by the door with gritty soap so you can wash your hands if you’d like. Prepare to get a little dirty when removing parts lol. The parts are by far priced cheaper than you could get anywhere else. For instance a lightly worn headlight assembly for a Honda Odyssey was over 80% off what you would pay brand new. So you definitely can get oem products for a great deal! I like LKQ because of how neat and organized the experience is. And the cool thing is it sits not too far from towering Lookout Mountain. So you get a pretty cool view while you’re working. One last word of advice tho, make sure to stay hydrated and bring something to drink! Because once you’re deep in the yard, it’ll take you sometimes several minutes just to walk back. Happy pulling!

Great place to do business with. They answered all of my questions correctly and paid me $400 for my expedition when everyone else tried to offer me $100. I highly recommend this company
Never have I been treated as kindly or as well as what JR did for my wife daughter and me. We hit debris on the interstate, had to coast to exit 1 on I75, and as I am on the phone he pulls up and just asks if we need help. Tows our car not just off the road, but all the way up to Nashville after he drove us to a car rental place while helping me take the steps I needed to take to get insurance to help me out. JR you are storing up treasures in Heaven sir. Truly an angel sent by Jesus to help us out in a time of need. I'll never forget what you did for us and how you helped us. Forever grateful. If anyone is contemplating who to use, look no further than JR. He cares, and goes the extra mile.
My company bought a car, they did not have the title signed by the customer they bought it from nor any contact information that is needed to get the car registered. The miles on the title did not match the miles on the car. When I called for assistance I was told he was busy and would try to see what he can do in between his time. He was very rude on the phone. He will not even give us our money back and come get this car. Now we are stuck with a car we can not get a title for and sell. Would not recommend them.

Used to be the best place in the area with the most competitive prices, but lately I’ve noticed that their overall scales seem to be a bit off and consequently do not accurately portray your overall payload! I’ve caught this mistake twice! I now request a supervisor to weigh me!! Be careful!!

Bohanon’s staff is great. The pick through yard is massive and they have a ton of cars to pick from. Was surprised how many newer model cars there were full of good stuff. 6 stars for the review if they install the parts for you lol but changing the door handle was quick outside. Everything fit and had a really easy trip to the local junk yard.

This is a great place that is extremely well run. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. If he doesn’t have what you need, he can point you in the right direction. Has to be one of the best run salvage yards I have visited. Highly recommended. Thank you.
I saw that Garrett and Parker had the part I needed on car-part.com. I called to confirm that they had it. They did. They made sure the part was good before I drive over and they took it off for me. Very friendly and fair pricing.
They did a great job helping me recycle metal cans. Mostly aluminum, but had some steel cans as well. Didn't know they were supposed to be separated so they helped me separate them. Very nice people and got paid more per lb than the average. Much better experience than other recycling places around here.
The used metal scraps you can buy by the pound is great. They always have what I need for my projects at a great price.
