Drove 35 minutes to get there, only to call the number and have the guy tell me they're not open on Saturdays. Funny...Google says differently. Won't waste my time going back.

This LKQ is my go to pick your part place and I’ve had good luck finding used parts here as long as I can get to the car quick enough. Their prices are usually fair and I’ve not had any issues finding the cars in the lot since the isles are well placed diving imports to the right and domestics to the left when your first walk back there and the isle numbers are clearly visible.

Great folks to buy parts from.....treated like family, not just another customer....that makes a HUGE difference!
Had the parts I needed at a decent price and even gave me my pic of which out of the several identical parts that I wanted

Been here many times. I’ve always enjoyed the experience. The place is organized, and if you are unsure of where to look, the employees will be happy to help you by providing a map of the yard and where you’re going to find certain vehicles. There’s a $3 entry fee, which isn’t bad. Once you open the doors to the junkyard, it’s almost another world. There are vehicles as far as the eye can see. Just make sure to bring all the tools you’ll need. Wheelbarrows are provided. Once you pull the parts you need, there are pumping sinks by the door with gritty soap so you can wash your hands if you’d like. Prepare to get a little dirty when removing parts lol. The parts are by far priced cheaper than you could get anywhere else. For instance a lightly worn headlight assembly for a Honda Odyssey was over 80% off what you would pay brand new. So you definitely can get oem products for a great deal! I like LKQ because of how neat and organized the experience is. And the cool thing is it sits not too far from towering Lookout Mountain. So you get a pretty cool view while you’re working. One last word of advice tho, make sure to stay hydrated and bring something to drink! Because once you’re deep in the yard, it’ll take you sometimes several minutes just to walk back. Happy pulling!
I bought a transmission for a 2000 Toyota Camry, just had the motor rebuilt 2 yes ago. then 4 new struts put on it. But transmission started to slip so I had to park her for a year(no money left for that for a while) washer, stove and refrigerator all tore up. Had to buy me a new to me stove. Looks like rough but it works great. Now the car is in the shop. Had to borrow the money for it. But I will have a dependable ride. Been using daughters washer and dryer. The refrigerator buy a couple of parts and put them in but I still have to beat on the freezer part to get it to kick on. Oh, I love the life of being poor now that I am older and on Medicare. The thing is I was looking forward to this and was planning on working longer but shoved the last 4 vertebrae s together, ripped the SI joints loose on both hips and shoved my tail bone under. All I can say is women I know most of you like being independent but your body isn't made like a man's. It doesn't have as many muscles as his does and will NOT hold up till you become retirement age. Especially the older you get no matter how much you work out. They will not hold up.
