Excellent place that care of everything I need
It's a scrap metal place. Anyway it's a very nice scrap metal place. Been there twice and got about 20 $ each for metal from around the house from updates to outdoor furniture, storm doors etc. Hence I recommend not to drive there just to drop of the metal, do it on your way in otherwise you might spend the money you get on gas. Please note I recommend to drive with pick up or van with thick tires. There is no liability for your flat tires.
I am a frequent customer here and will definitely continue to be. My fiance Paul Tyler and I go out of our way to bring our business to Salisbury Metal. The staff are always friendly and don't mind giving u a helping hand. Their prices are also the best around by far. Kevin,JR, Haleigh, Brandon, and Mike are all top notch employees 😁 …
Great service, Mike at the scales was pleasant and wonderful to talk with. Also Evelo was super helpful getting my washer and dryer out of the bed of my truck. Finally Haleigh at the counter was great and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this business to everyone!

I called up Donovan for parts and unfortunately, they don’t have what I need. However, the gentleman I spoke to went online to see who does and found a salvage in southern NJ that has it. It just so happens that I am driving through NJ tomorrow for a holiday to New England, so this is just a bit of a detour in an already planned trip. The salvage Donovan recommended was awesome and I have Donovan to thank for going that extra mile, not only finding them but giving me their phone number and the price of my parts, as well. If Donovan ever has what I need in the future, I will go to them. I highly recommend them as your first stop.
It’s okay till you see fees like the “facility fee” they decided to make up and charge people on. I mean people are bringing you stuff you make money off of and you charge them for it? Maybe people bringing metal to your yard should charge you guys a transportation fee for hauling metal down there to you. This fee is nothing more than a free donation to them. Super greedy. Your business expenses are not the customer’s responsibility so don’t push it off on them in some greedy excessive fee.

Will be bringing my steel here from now on. They paid better for steel than the other yards I’ve been going to. Staff was also a lot friendlier than I have encountered at other yards. I also was able to unload and get paid quick compared to other yards, especially when coming 30min before closing.
Go somewhere else if you want true value for your metals. If copper even has a slightest green color to it, they say its #2. Wire any size that has been stripped of all plastic and coverings you get nothing for. That should also be #1 copper. there scale is 14 lbs off and they weigh your metal in portions so you will lose 14lbs every time. If your copper does not look new then it is #2 to them. My father has owned a scrap yard in Tennessee my entire life, I've been around this business for over 40 years now. I should have gotten $1185.80 for my metal and only walked out with $700.. I took the time to cut it up and separate everything precisely. I guess they are used to people coming in looking for a quick 20 bucks that pay no attention. But if you have hundreds of pounds of copper i would highly recommend you going elsewhere.

*Fast*Friendly*Downtown*Convienent* I've been to quite a few scrap yards between here and Raleigh, but this place...They have perfected the art of scrappin'! Especially if you're like me and do not particularly enjoy the rust, dirt, and pointed edges welcoming your arrival at the scrap yard. Park (once), dump metals in sorted bins, and watch the pounds climb the scale! Best part, every employee is helpful and patient. They do it old school when it comes to payment. No ATM here, just a good ole hand-to-hand money exchange from the cashier!

I bring my scrap from my construction and destruction jobs. They have been pretty cool. But the intake guys have been a lil cranky last few times. Also doctoring the scales. The last three weights have been exactly the same. That's not cool
