These guys were so quick to come pick up our van... We worried the flatbed wouldn't make it through our narrow driveway, but Marty was a pro- he maneuvered that thing without any issue! :) He was very nice and personable and gave us a very fair price, cash on the spot. I'm glad we went with this company.
Called Chappels to see about picking up my car that no longer runs and they came right out and grabbed it for me! Super friendly staff and super fast service!
Very satisfying experience with Chappels. My call was returned within an hour and an appointment setup for the next day. Martin, owner/driver, called me the day of and arrived shortly after we spoke. It was a bit tricky but handled very professionally and as quickly as possible. Payment was fair, in cash and handed over after vehicle was on the trailer. Okay I want to help make your experience great when your trying to sell/junk your car. Everything up front seemed easy. I put my information in and the I received a offer right away. I received a follow up email asking if I wanted excepted the offer. After accepting the offer I told them where to retrieve the vehicle. Then I received a phone call asking if they could call the location to make sure I didn’t owe anything. That is when the problems started. The associate that took this info and made the call to the shop. Made that number my primary number. So when it was time for them to retrieve my vehicle they were calling the shop the whole time. I choose the 8-12 window and around 11:30 no calls yet. So I called them. They explained they didn’t have the right address 🧐 like really? Why haven’t you called me? Oh we meant too? Then he says we’re coming to get it by this evening. Around 3pm I call and he says we already picked it up... I’m like how? I have the keys and the title and my tags are still on it! The big problem I’m doing a selling transaction and I haven’t been paid!!!! Needless to say it took me until 5:30 pm to get this straightened out. This business along with the tow company they used were very unprofessional and very disorganized. Would not recommend them unless you have no other choice 😫
I've had many experiences with Northside over the past 30 years or so and the company has never disappointed me in any way whatsoever and they have always treated me fairly and respectfully and recommend them to everyone for the services they provide
Visit on 6/6/22 Still my favorite scrap yard. Met the new-to-me inside scales guy. Asked about Scott, found he is now supervisor. Good job. Scott found a very capable inside scales operator. He was helpful and courteous. I'll be back.

They don't give you recet all the time and tell you you have 30 days for return and when you bring your part back you They don't take it they make you pay for anther part which the inchangeble sheets are faulty on some parts
