We called Thompson Towing and 30 minutes later they were at my house removing my husband's rusty old Cadillac that had been stored on the back 40 of our property for the past decade. Let’s start by saying this is not the typical junk yard and the staff here is amazing. My adventure started with Britt who was direct and focused with a good personality for controlling the flow of men coming in to buy parts. She was very helpful and is an asset to the company. The rest of the staff also did a great job i just didn’t have the same interaction. The field of cars, trucks, vans, suvs both domestic and foreign models available. I gave them 5 stars because their professional approach and courteous staff. Thank you.
I’ve been going to this place on and off for 20 years but the last couple I’ve tried to do it as a job so I started monitor my loads where as before I didn’t…WATCH your tare weight had the same truck for 5 years and the tare weight is always different and I’m the only one in it 90% of the time… I’ve had extruded aluminum they put it as aluminum clip etc. KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE ask what they say it is before you put it on the scale…Don’t go past the stop sign which is either covered by overgrowth or upside down or you’ll get screamed at he may even chase you with his front end loader back to the stop sign then have you wait 20 minutes The guy they have in the back to direct you is a stand up guy will help you but he’s hardly there wonder why? If you’d like I have plenty of receipts some from the same day where you can see what I’m talking about the tare weight plus they have no read out at either scale so it’s whatever they want it to be
Went to three different junk yards none of them had the part that I need even though they had like 13 of my trucks in there he only had one of my trucks in there and it had everything I needed I can't complain
