Agreed on price for part and shipping, "laid in" as they called it. Filled out credit card authorization for agreed upon price. They then came back and raised the price and asked to fill out the cc form again due to shipping increase. They had all relevant information for the quote and are trying to increase the price after the fact. Will be taking business elsewhere.
The setup for selling my vehicle was simple enough. However, the process of towing the car was more stressful than it should have been. My time window for pick up was 1pm to 5pm, but my tow truck driver was late. He did call me with updates are 3:30 pm, and did not arrive until 6:30pm. I had to ask him multiple times to fill out my Title and Notice of Sale as he didn't seem to want to provide his information. He also attempted to buy the vehicle for a higher cash offer and did not accept my "no" until my partner stepped in. He forgot to write my check and asked me if he was supposed to pay me when I inquired about it. I think this would have been a more pleasant experience if I had a different tow truck driver. Overall, it made me feel like I was being scammed. Not sure if I would recommend or use this company again.
This was my second time here doing business with this company. The service offered was great. Eric did a good job and displayed a good demeanor . The price was reasonable. I highly recommend NYC auto parts.
I can’t express how thankful I am for the service my grandparents received. They needed a transmission, and nobody in Kansas had one available. My grandparents made the 6hr+ drive to Springfield and one of the workers stayed over for an hour so they could get it that day. Even though this place was a last resort due to distance, we were far from disappointed with the outcome. We would willingly make the drive again for the service.
The man was a great instructor on where to go, where to put the recyclables. The guys in the front shop were also very curtious as well. Prices could use a raise. Overall it was a pleasent experience.
Called Ace Auto Salvage on a Wednesday. Texted information on picking up my vehicle. Within 24 hours of initial contact my vehicle was removed. No problems no issues. Had previously called 3 other Salvage companies no one would pick up vehicle without jumping through loop-holes. Gentleman from Ace company did a fabulous job. Thank you for your great customer service.
As a former employee I know I can go out there and find just about anything I need. Reasonably priced and they have a wide variety of vehicles. I've always been treated pretty good. It may take some time for them to get to what you need, they are usually pretty busy and short handed. Overall I am a repeat customer and will continue to be.
Mister D was very polite when he came to pick up my 99 Camry. He deserves a raise for his kindness.
They sell their items at very good prices. I bought a truck battery for $20 nearly all of the other places like Walmart advance Auto and so on wanted over $100 for a new battery I would tell anyone to go there for their auto repair needs
