Not sure what your needs are but I dropped off rotors from my car. Good service to have rather than dump stuff like that into the city garbage. No questions asked, convenient location. My understanding is that they will pay you for your recyclable metal, but I did not even ask for money as I am happy that they took the old stuff for recycling.

Best scrap yard in the capital region and possibly New York State. Very friendly staff that guide you where to go with different types of scrap. Very easy to use truck scales as well as smaller item scales. Heard is completely blacktop and constantly cleaned, minimizing the amount of nails you pick up in your tires.
They have no fixed price. One manager gives one price when you take off the part other manager will give you another price. I have been here a few times and all the time the same story. The last time I tried to buy tires, the first manager gave me $ 30 each, then anoder one gave $35+$5. We are trying to save money going to them, but eventually, we are paying more and getting terrible customer service.
Ill give yall 3 stars cuz usually your nice to me and help me out. But i would recommend better customer service. But if this was any other time id give yall 5 stars but this really just ruined my experience here. Just hope yall arent like this all the time. Cuz i really dont know if ill be coming back after i get what i need. And i really loved this place been coming here since high school and would like to continue just skeptical now.
