We found one of the two things we were looking for. Oddly, we found the hardest one to find.

My most recent experience with Pik-A-Part was very good. They went to some trouble to determine what part I needed, that they did not have it, but it was available about35 miles away. Then they offered to pick it up for me. I said I would be going that way in 3 weeks so it didn't need to be shipped. The owners daughter said she could probably pick it up in 2 weeks. We agreed whoever got there first. It turned out she sent a text. She had it in no extra charge in 8 days. Picked it up and all looks good.
My 19 year old son had his 1st car accident yesterday (no fault of his own) and told OHP to have the car towed to the cheapest place. It was sent to McDaniels only about 5 miles from the accident sight. My son was at the hospital being checked out when the car was towed. When we went clean out the car this morning they told us we could sign the title over to them and have no bill or pay them $221 for tow fees and then we would have to have it towed elsewhere. We asked them if they would tow it elsewhere for a fee and they said no. We payed their extremely high fee and paid another tow company $75 to tow it 15 miles to another salvage yard. If you are in an accident have your car towed anywhere else unless you like giving away $!
First, I want to say; "Thank you to this place and those who helped me out today!" I'll be giving them my business and hard earned money when I need parts from now on. Due to being in very hard times and not even able to pay the outrageous $38+ at these local parts stores for brake pads (2 of mine were down to metal on my only car and I would normally never have driven one like this), I was desperate. I called this place, told them what I needed, and asked the price. Today, I drove my grinding blazer 14 miles hoping it would not destroy the entire brake assembly. I followed their location sheet to vehicles and found one with near new pads. Someone had respectfully pulled the calipers. All I had to do was open the bleeder valve, pop them out with no trouble, close the valves and pay only $9.00 for both front pair! They helped get this desperate man get back to having a fighting chance! Just be sure to respect the next person by not destroying parts and don't just scatter what you take off, don't need, and leave behind. Remember...."One persons junk is another person's treasure". One big parts store can scratch this decades loyal customers cash and business as LOST. They couldn't even help me the one time I have been desperate and down, after the thousands I have spent with them. I could give 5 stars, but want to save room for the next visit.

Pros: Nice people, easy access to scales, fair prices, fast service Cons: Almost pass it everytime kinda hidden coming from nashville until your rate on it, the "road" leaving is narrow if someone is unloading on the little scale your blocked in, there is alot of glass and things that may cut your tires but hasn't happened to me yet
Awesome place to find anything. They give quotes on what they already have pulled. All other parts will have to be pulled on site. Less than half the price of other places.
