Best Junkyards in Fort Wayne Indiana

We bought a used tire than blew it out. Went back to see if we could buy another one a week later and they gave us one! No charge at all! Definitely helped us out a bunch!!

They had a fender listed as “a” condition and sent photos to me which looked pretty clean. So I decided to drive 200 miles to them since they had the part available. When I got there it was totally different then what they had sent me, the fender was aftermarket and used( automatically can’t be “a” condition if it is aftermarket) it was rotted out due to rust and literally broken due to tire rubbing on the fender from having big tires on. I told them this is no where close to “a”condition and will not pay top money for a damaged, poor condition part. They were only willing to take 20 dollars off. I did not waste my money with them, just my time. Hopefully they don’t do the same to anyone thinking of purchasing parts from them, I would advise EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY!

I had a bunch of old metal that I needed cleaned up. Called Chestnut Metal Recycling and they were quick with a large dumpster to take care of all my needs. After I was done I called them, they came to pick up the dumpster AND told me I had money from all the scrap metal. This was a win, win for me! Will definitely use these guys again. If you have these questions. Here they are saves you from calling them and they telling you abruptly over the phone they can't take your junk car. Do I need a title to junk it? Yes Do I have to be the owner of the car even if I have title? Yes I was trying to junk a car that my uncle left when he moved to a new country and he parked it in my yard abandoned for over 5 years now and I just don't know how to get rid of it I don't even really care if I get some money or 5 dollars to get rid of it. I just want it gone and this company didn't want to.

They will put forth the extra effort to take care of the customer whether it's a $2.00 part or a $2,000.00 part. Shop here with confidence!

Called in for to see if they had some parts, went there and took the parts off of the vehicles myself and when going to pay I was told an even higher price than what I was told before even after I found out and explaining to them how the parts where broken, put them back and left, never had bad service there until now but will not be going back.

Had my junk car scrapped today and they were very friendly, gave a good price, and were out within 2 hours to pick it up. The driver Jason was very nice and we would definitely sell here again!
